Hello All!
I just wanted to ask if it is possible to have a filter or option to block only annoying ads and let simple ads pass

Simply subscribe to the ABP Whitelist (https://adblockplus.org/en/acceptable-ads) by clicking on the following link:

    abp:subscribe?location=https://easylist-downloads.adblockplus.org/exceptionrules.txt

(or manually subscribe to https://easylist-downloads.adblockplus.org/exceptionrules.txt in AdBlock's filter list dialogue)

As Tim suggested, subscribing to the ABP whitelist is probably one of the easiest ways to allow some ads. Some of our users also disable AdBlock by default, and only enable it for websites that have too many annoying ads (AdBlock button > Options > Customize > Show ads everywhere except for these domains…).
