Editing filterlists
About a year ago I asked about improvements to editing filterlists. It was under the old Google-based discussion system and I believe it was being considered. I was wondering if it is in the works. I don't know how requests are tracked these days.

Can you send us a lin to the original issue, or remind us what the
changes are? This is just to make it easier for newer contributors.

I can certainly try. But, I thought the project had moved away from Google
groups into this new discussion system? If that information is archived,
I would be able to search it. I don't know where to look for it, though.

I'll ask one of our older contributors if he knows of this...

Hi Ravi,
What improvements to editing filter lists do you mean? Maybe this?
If no, could you explain more, about what was the original issue?
Thanks,
Tomáš

In AdBlock Plus for Firefox (different project, I recognize) there is a
Filter Preferences option. This option exposes all the filters in a
subscription - e.g. EasyList, and allows the user to check/uncheck
specific items.
I asked if a similar feature could be provided for this project. I am
aware of AdBlock -> Options -> Customize. I have used it to add and edit
filters. But, it does not expose the filters provided by subscriptions.

OK. I've passed this on to our developers and they may look into it!
If you have any experience in making Chrome extensions in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery, please take a look at http://code.getadblock.com and send us a patch as an attachment! Our code is licensed under the GNU GPLv3.
